At present the majority of young people are in unfavorable life situation in Lugansk region. Statistics is evident of it. For today our Foundation works on social support of the given category of youth.

It is determined by the law, that social support is the kind of social work providing realization of complex actions system of long-term help to families which are in crisis situations by executors, to persons returned from places of imprisonment, and to children who are in crisis situations.

Realization of social support enables:

1. To solve out end-to-end and systematically the problems of youth that got in crisis situations;

2. To give psycho-pedagogical, legal, information help in order to prevent exception of youth from life of society;

3. To create constantly working system of social rehabilitation;

4. Correction of their behavior;

5. socialization and resocialization;

6. To carry out general work on preventive maintenance of repeated commission of offence.

It is very difficult to resocialize an emotionally intense, embittered, mentally unbalanced minor cause as a rule society, family, and friends turn away from him.

General program, concerning such a person, can become a part for interaction between state and the public organizations, a new form of work on optimization of educational process. Coordination of efforts of all interested parties will promote the efficiency of approbation of a new model - "social support".

The model of "social support" provides for the long, general work of different experts, complex of actions with minors, youth, parents, the nearest environment, society as for their socialization, resocialization and increase of social status.

At present the Foundation works on such work directions: social support of youth which returned from the places of imprisonment and families which are in crisis situations.

The priority directions

for formation the policy concerning family, children and youth should become:

1. Creation of legal, economic, cultural, social conditions for normal functioning of family, strengthening the prestige and stability of marriage.

2. Increase of the role of parents and their responsibility for the maintenance and education of children.

3. Granting address complex support to needy families.

4. Increase of legal awareness of family, children and youth on their rights.



5. Creation of the flexible work mechanism with children which includes elaboration of the complex of corresponding legislative and other normative acts, carrying out scientific researches, development and realization of the programs on organization of social work and social protection of children.

6. Development of social services, whose purpose to prevent the divorce of families with children.

7. Development of social support services of family guardianship forms.

8. Further improvement of normative base which would give an opportunity to represent interests of a child to social services in the face of bodies of the government.
