Charitable foundation "Teenager" was created by the decision No 82 of Lenin district council of Luhansk city on 22.04.1997.

The founding documents were constituted in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "About charity", registered by Luhansk branch of justice management, and a bank account was open.

Organization’s aim is social and legal protection of children and youth, providing them with legal and address social help.

Basic activities: education of teenagers about basic legislative questions, children's rights, healthy way of life; prevention of offences, negative displays and reduction of conflicts in teenage environment; realization of the principle "A family for every Child", introduction the concept of reforming the childcare institutions; development of volunteers' movement; protection children from cruel treatment; granting the address help to children and families that have got in hard living situations.

A highly qualified team of specialists work in Foundation, they are devoted to their work and intend to change the fate of every child for the better.

11 projects have been supported by the donor organizations for the period of Foundation's work.

4 charitable concerts have been carried out in 7 years' time: "Bells of our alarm", "Children are the future of Ukraine", "All begins with love...", "The World is created for children".

The Fund gives address material aid (its amount has increased in 3 times for the last three years, about 800 person have received it in 2004).

Visits to educational establishments, boarding schools, orphan houses has increased and got a regular character (nearly 200 visits in 2004) .

Release of methodical manuals and their distribution among educational institutions of Luhansk region, the governmental structures, libraries. As for the year of 2004 there were 10 editions with general circulation about 20,000 copies.

The work of the Foundation is highlighted in local, regional, all-Ukrainian press, on TV and radio.

Since 2003, the Foundation started to take the first steps toward creation the information-educational newspaper for teenagers and their parents where interesting and useful information is published.

For its work the Foundation and its team is rewarded with diplomas and gratitude.

The foundation is open for cooperation with the governmental and non-governmental organizations and regular citizens which are not indifferent in our activities.
